Not everyone believes the consensus that climate change is real and extreme weather is the harbinger of catastrophic warming. This consensus is a product of the tunnel vision of the alarmists even when they attempt to maintain an even keel; the ship turns without their knowing; they have no guiding star. The precautionary principle is a single bladed sword. What if climate change is not toward a greenhouse effect but toward the icehouse? The consensus might be left holding some very hot potatoes in a very much colder world as solar cycle 24 wanes.
