Are they really suing over something they were well aware could happen in a sport that they’ve played and witnessed for years beforehand? This is a joke? What about the contracts? My son played soccer this year and I know that ALL sports teams do it, but you’re given notice in CHILDREN’S sports that there’s a chance for concussions. Then you sign a waiver waiving your rights so how do these individuals get around that? Why is this okay? You chose to do this like you choose to cook and possibly burn your own house down. How’s that any different? (I know a lot as far as yourself and your house, but the liability factor here…)
