CNA Appoints Baweja Vice President Of Analytics

CNA announced the appointment of Naveen Baweja to vice president of Analytics.

In this role, Baweja will provide leadership and support to the underwriting transformation initiatives component of the CNA Enterprise Roadmap, with a focus on enhancing the company’s data and analytics capabilities.

CNA’s Enterprise Roadmap is a multiyear investment to improve business processes and technology.

“The Roadmap is a critical enabler to delivering on our strategic goals, especially in the further development of our customer segments and underwriting profitability,” said Larry Haefner, executive vice president and chief actuary, CNA. “I am confident that Naveen’s experience will help provide leadership to further enhance the company’s data and analytics capabilities necessary to drive underwriting profitability improvement.”

Bajewa comes to CNA with has more than 15 years of experience spanning financial services, technology, management consulting and entrepreneurship. Most recently, she served as the head of a startup venture company. Prior to that, she led strategy at Canara HSBC Life Insurance and held a number of consulting engagements at McKinsey & Company.
