I am not feeling the love between local law enforcement and Mr. Greenman. Three strikes and they should be out. The crime rate must be pretty low in that community if they have so much time to spend on Mr. Greenman.
Sounds like the police need a new charge, assuming Mr Greeman is a danger to himself or others. I hope he stays out of the streets; he sounds like an accident waiting to happen.
Whereas I certainly agree that staying out of heavily trafficked areas makes sense, it seems as though this gentleman has found a reasonable way to travel when he has had a few; the police should leave him alone. The Segway seems to me a much better solution than getting into a car to drive.
The cops could arrest him for public drunkenness (PD). That is what the cops used to do if they stopped someone for DUI and they were under the limit. PD allows the officer to make a judgement call. All you have to do is be in public and show signs of intoxication. Minn. possibly does not have this law.

That should be Greeman.
Love this guy.
