The Inland Marine Underwriters Association’s (IMUA) Chicago-based Midwest Advisory Committee recently announced it will present a morning seminar, entitled “Questions You Always Wanted to Know the Answers to about Jobsite Management but Were Always Afraid to Ask,” on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007 at UBS Tower, Michigan II Room, One North Wacker Dr., Chicago.
Presenters Harvey Berns, Risk Control, Travelers Construction and Carl Griffith, director of Safety & Quality, Trench-It, Inc. will discuss what risk control professionals expect of pre-construction jobsite preparedness vs. what safety managers actually deliver.
Cost for the IMUA seminar is $25. Registration and breakfast is from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. The presentation runs from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A picture ID is needed for entry.
