    If the insureds are worried that their carrier won’t meet their needs, then they need to seriously look at themselves. Why did you go with XYZ insurance to begin with? Probably because they scoffed at paying for the proper coverage. A Penny Wise, A Pound foolish.

    I am amazed at the number of homeowners in the effected areas without adequate coverage’s for the exposures they face. I would think there would be number of insurance agents facing an E&O exposure on this issue for failing to recommend flood coverage. Hopefully the agent received a signed waiver from the homeowner refusing flood and related additional coverage’s when the policy was up for renewal.
